Map limitations

We were recently made aware that only 250 addresses can be geo-coded (converted into latitude and longitude coordinates) with a reasonable speed at one time with the google free api.  One possible work around for this is to copy the data from the table/text area and refresh the page after geo-coding stops.  Another solution is to go to the edit page and paste the spreadsheet data so another 250 items get added.  Currently maps are limited to 2500 geo-coded addresses per day per user ip address.  We are looking at getting a business license, so these restrictions will go away.  The number of points on a map is limited to 100,000 but most browsers have issues trying to display this many points at one time, so we recommend using clustering.

Enjoy mapping,
The EasyMapMaker Team.
